Potomac Alumnae Chapter (PAC) Major Events in 2025-2026 - The Board met during the summer to plan imaginative ways to meet, do worthwhile service, have educational events/workshops, and fun social activities. A few are virtual events plus creative ways to do altruistic work, and many are safe in-person events. Up-to-the-minute details are posted on our social media PAC email group and Facebook group and Instagram group (see below on how to join these groups to get the latest info on upcoming events and new ones as they pop up). You can also email Janice Fisher at jfpfisher@verizon.net for more details. September 2025 - On Monday, the 8th, we had our first Lunch Bunch event at Not Your Average Joe's in Rockville. Since it was a busy month for many sisters, several group
get-togethers ​were planned during the month so sisters could get together when they could.  
  
​​October 2025​ - 
On Saturday, the 18th, we had a unique Alpha Gamma Always. To start, we had a creative event 
​at Hammer and Stain in ​Rockville, then followed with lunch at Tapas Grill, both pictured at the right. 
​​                                      
November 2025 On Monday, the 10th, we had another Lunch Brunch together.​   
                                      In addition, several area alums participated in the Initiation of Nu Epsilon Chapter ​in 
                                      ​​Winchester, Virginia and associated events on 8-9 November. Alexandra Pogany was 
                                      ​our representative and participated throughout the event and Feast of Roses.​  

                                      Note: $30 support fees are due by December 31st for the current year (June-June). But
                                      if you miss the deadline, we still accept them. Please send a check to Treasurer Debbie

D​ecember 2025-January 2026
 - Our annual holiday party, at Patti Conville's lovely
home, 
was moved to Sunday 4 January, 2026, due to snow. ​We had a ​delightful lunch
that great-cook Patti provides, and ​ever-anticipated w
rapped ​squirrel gift ​exchange, which
is always great fun. See the sisters who stay to the very end. We've ​had or holiday parties so
​very many years, so much fun and fabulous sisterhood.
  
​​​​Sisters again donated ​boxes of supplies 
​​to the food pantry. See the picture at far right of the
​goodies ​packed in Colette's car ​for delivery. 

   
On January 19th,​ we had another lunch bunch at Cracker Barrel, Montgomery Mall.                                                                                                   Sisterhood, fun, and donations too.​
   
Finally, i​​
In January, nominations are also gathered for officers for the coming year,                                                                                            
who ​are ​installed in May.  We are always looking for new sister officers to bring new
​ideas ​and enthusiasm to spice up our wonderful sisterhood.

​​​February 2026 ​- As part of the Week of Service, for years we have hosted an annual birthday party at Rockville ​Women's ​Shelter with donated gifts and all the goodies
​and trimmings of a great birthday party 
including cake and ice cream and gift ​cards for birthday ladies and scores of small gifts for all the ladies at the shelter. And then 
throughout the Spring, ​we participate ​in various other service​ activities such a planned group event with Meals on Wheels. Stay tuned here and on our social media platforms
for details as new events come together. 
  
​March 2026
 ​- We will have another lunch brunch with details announced closer to the event. 
​April 2026 - International Reunion Day - This year IRD is hosted by Chesapeake Alumnae Chapter and Zeta Delta Chapter in the rotation. More details will be provided as Chesapeake releases plans. 
  ​

May 2026 - Officer Installation will be an important event in May and we always have a dinner get-together associated.  Where and when will be announced on our social
​media Facebook, Instagram and email groups. 

  ​

​​​​​​​Summer 2026 - We have a planning meeting that all sisters can attend to plan for the upcoming year and a dinner event.
   
Special Events - Additional impromptu social and philanthropy events are announced through our social media Facebook, ​Instagram 
and Email Groups (see below on how to join the groups) as they become available during the year.

In addition, groups of sisters participate in special planned events announced in our social media platforms. Last year was the African
safari. This year sisters got together to go to Asheville (see the picture). We are already discussing another oversees trip for 2026-7.

Anyone interested in contributing time, items, ideas or funds is invited to share with us the joy of service and sisterhood. Annual support fees, due by December 31st, are $30 and they are our only regular income. But you are welcome to come in any case, anytime, always our sister. Support fees or other donations can be sent to ​PAC's Treasurer, Debbie Finch. You can contact her at purplefinchd@yahoo.com for mailing directions or PayPal method.
Facebook - An easy way to keep up with events as they unfold is to join our Facebook Group - Alpha Gamma Delta Potomac Alumnae Chapter. Just find us in Facebook and ask to join. You will be asked for your name, chapter, initiation year. January 2025, we have 119 Facebook sisters. For questions, email Janice Fisher at jfpfisher@verizon.net.

Instagram - The group name is AGD_PAC_Alumnae.​​ This is the newest of our Keeping in Touch options. For details, contact Patti Conville at psconville@gmail.com.

Email Group - We have our email group on Google Groups. Any sister who wishes to be added and get periodic emails with details about upcoming events, just email Janice Fisher at jfpfisher@verizon.net and tell her your name, chapter, initiation year, and the email at which you wish to receive the group emails. She will set you up and you will receive a Welcome email and immediately start getting the group emails. You may also send emails to the group. It is a great way to stay in touch, totally private, secure, and you get the same postings as through the Facebook Group so you can pick whichever fits you best or sign up for both.
  
Newsletter - ​​ We publish an annual newsletter by September that any sister anywhere can get. See the Newsletter page for details. To get onto the newsletter list, contact Janice Fisher at jfpfisher@verizon.net. Our editor, Patti Conville, also periodically issues supplements through the Email Group, Facebook and Instagram. 
   
Zoom and Regular Meetings - Most of our meetings are regular in-person meetings but a few are Zoom. Meeting information and Zoom links if appliable are published through AGD-PAC's private Facebook, Instagram, and Email Groups discussed above. The type of meeting is indicated for each event above.
   
IRD - Join us for IRD each April. See information above and as published in the Facebook, Instagram and Email Groups for details as they are finalized. In 2025 AGD-PAC is hosting IRD for the three local alumnae chapters and the collegiates.

Web Site - Check back periodically for information on upcoming events​. Because the web site is public, for security purposes, specific details are limited here but can be obtained through the private AGD-PAC groups listed here or from a sister identified for an event, or the webmaster.
